Are you Dumb?

Was doing some random surfing the other day while waiting for dinner and chanced upon a site which mentioned how shallow and 'act cute' local people are in Singapore, compared to others who study overseas.

Apparently locals studying in Singapore have no sophistication or any form of intellect at all, and we're all a bunch of goofs who like 'acting cute'. Somehow according to this person the locals who have studied overseas are more 'real', and that its so much easier to be yourself around them..

After reading the posting I had to pause and rest for a while, because I was suffering from an overload of bullshit which reeked of the ass of a pseudo intellectual ..what a snob! I mean come on..you feel that these people are real because they seem to reach your level of intellect, and share your views of life? A big SIGH to that.

I could go on and on about how this wrong and dangerous these assumptions are, and how it could have a negative impact on our society, especially on the youth of today, leading to the downfall of everything the government has painstakingly built up from scratch, and eventually on to our own ruin.

But screw that lar, cos I prefer to go on acting cute while ignoring all these intellectual sorts out there. Bleah =P
