Boys don't cry!

Just recalled this taiwanese show I saw on channel U during the exam period..its one of those typical love dramas, but what struck me was the number of times the males in the show were crying..in about 5 mins I saw about 5 different guys weep openly. Aiyoh. I know its the rage now to be sensitive and all..BUT still..kinda exaggerated!

I still remember the first Jap drama I watched..Heaven's Coins. Anyone remember it? Thanks to that show I was worshipping Noriko Sakai for a few years. It was damn good la. Your classic Jap serial with all the twists and turns..2 men going after the same girl, girl choses one, both men fall out, man she choses dies due to freak accident but not before making the other man promise to look after her. What more can you ask for eh?

Am listening to perfect 10 right now and there's some secondary school person making a dedication..I quote: "to all the people who know me, stay cool and funky!" sigh. I'm not going to comment at all on that. People would just call me mean. You make your own judgements on this student.

Went to Kino just this wed..finally!! now I have a long list of books/comics I want to read/buy..everything looks so interesting la. Realised I'm attracted to books for the covers before the actual content...some of the covers they have are really butt ugly la. cannot make it! Browsing thru the books at Kino reminds me of my childhood days where I spent my saturdays wandering around the huge 3 story MPH near the national library..did nothing but read the books for free. haha. back then I was a poor kid with no money whatsoever..and now, I'm a bigger kid..still without much money. Shucks. Donations anyone? =)

Heh am in a good mood. Had a pretty enjoyable week so far! Gonna have a smashing wkend too..woohoo! This is what life should be about! haha. And yes before I forget..
