On the Run

So many things have happened the past week...its been another hectic week for me..everyday I leave my room at 8am and get back about midnight..it's like..wtf mate? but CNY is coming so screw that..haha

Went JB last week with jit, wen, sikis, kenny...ate a lot of food for only S$12..shiok! had squid, stingray, crayfish, prawns, and lots of other stuff..that was followed by durians which were unfortunately quite lousy..after that it was back to S'pore for some good ol' MJ..mahjong! Where jit proceeded to own our noobie asses with his zi muo 13 yao. nice one la..I will tell me grandkids about that....

The rest of my week was a whirlwind of meetings, trainings and lectures which I try to stay awake at but fail most of the time..stuff no worth mentioning la!

Had to go to Batam last sat to get the lapis for D&D...so we decided to go to the casino to try our luck..seems like my luck isn't here yet..no matter what hand I got in BlackJack the banker was always one point above me..hokay..if thats not enough the police raided the place and we had to evacuate the building...it was like something straight out of those Hong Kong movies..cept there was no Kung fu..every decent Hong Kong movie has some sort of fighting scene in it. It wasn't so bad that we lost money at the casino, wasn't so bad that we almost got caught..but what was bad was that our passports weren't with us! We had passed it to someone to get a rebate on our ferry ticket..so there we were, 5 NUS students in Batam..with no money..lots of kuey lapis..and no passports. Things weren't looking very bright..but somehow we were all very calm/stoned..haha. Thankfully the operator was responsible enough to bring the passports to the terminal..so we got our rebate and our passports back..phew! Never missed home so much before..(except the first day of BMT of cos..that was a shitty day..there's nothing fun or lifting about spending a dark gloomy night in a bunk with 11 other guys you have never ever seen before). Honestly we're all quite truamatized by this incident and are all thinking of resigning from the com...hahaha. What an experience...that was a close shave..

Last night I was coming back to my room at about 2am in the morn..and first thing I had to do was catch a cockroach which was in sw's room....I thought..how bad could it be? Till I saw it..woah..quite big ah. Must have been feeding on lots of good food to grow to that size..ah well couldn't lose face so I had to do it..and the bugger kept running into all e places which I couldn't reach..ah well anyway now its in cockroach heaven, or whereever cockroaches go when they get smashed up...and I realised how scared some girls are of cockroaches..
