Good day ladies and gentlemen, the holidays are finally here. Say hello to endless nights of mahjong, booze, and fun! Speaking of which my mahjong luck has been fantastic recently. I must be doing something right for the Mahjong Gods toshow favour to me. woohooo.
Well lots have happened since I last had an entry. I'm really lazy to write it all down so here is the low down:
Since my exams ended, I have:
1) travelled to Bangkok where I shopped my knees into the ground
2) started training for canoe polo again, experiencing the all too familiar aching in my body
3) finally started packing up my room at home. I think my storeroom is currently neater then my room.
4) starting to read/watch the books/movies that I have stored up at home
5) grown fatter
Yep thats about what has happened to me recently. Maybe I'll write abt it more if i feel like it..but prob not! haha. During the past week or so after exams ended I realised how much I've been neglecting my other friends due to hall life. Kind of glad for this 3 month break where I won't have any hall stuff on. OK wait make that maybe 2 months. Just remembered I'm helping out with my hall Orientation. oops!
This time of the year has to be my second favourite time of the year, after
the month of December. Have I ever mentioned December is the best?
Linkin Park says it all: "This is my December, this is my time of the year".
Heh.
Well besides being the 3 months break for local students, it also means
most of my friends studying overseas will be coming back home for the
holidays. Finally! Can't wait to see all my old friends again! With studies
out of the way, it gives us all more time to catch up with old friends and
get to know new friends better too..as well as getting to know newer
friends eh? Time to run more..new freshies coming soon..lalala. Ya la
all you people can stop rolling your eyesand shaking your heads now..
I'm superficial! hahaha.
I think its time to take life slow, to put the brakes on the fast pace of life to
stop and smell the roses. Life may be short, but it whizzes past us faster
then we'll ever realise eh? Yah Kossy thanks for sending me that =)
The past months have been a whirlwind of lectures, tutorials and trainings.
I don't think there was a day last sem where I could just laze around and bum.
Watch out world, Alvin the bum is back...Well at least for 3 months la. =)
