Runway or Another?

Just caught the Eusoff Dance Production earlier on in the night..lasted a good 2 hours plus. Woah. Really respect the DP team, it must have been hell putting up a production on such a large scale. Pity the storyline was kind of draggy..and extremely draggy. (Did I mention draggy?) My favorite dances must have been dances number 3 and 8 though..damn good lah! I'm sure those of you who caught it will definitely agree with me. Dancing aside, there were tons of hot babes on stage (at least they looked really hot while I was sitting about 40 m away...didn't get to see them close up. Happens when you can't afford the more expensive tickets), so I can't really complain can I? haah it was enjoyable la. In a way. For me at least =)

Followed up with a round of my favorite game. I think mine and Siki's combined luck was prob worse then Michael Jackson's. The Mahjong Gods have abandoned us. sob sob. We got burned so badly, even our own mothers do not recognize us anymore. We got charred beyond recognition. Super Chao-tah.

Realised that I don't have much time left to study for my midterms which are coming up next week, guess I'll really have to put in a lot more effort studying. Java Programming is killing me, and I hardly have an idea about the history of Chinese in Singapore. Academics isn't my forte lah. (ya la I know most of you are prob gonna go "Bullshit la this Alvin. He's a gep! Bloody liar" but it's true..my studies are like shit right now la..)

Anyway V-day is coming up in a few days, all flower & gift shops, card-makers and stuffed toy companies rejoice! Only during this period are they able to sell off largely useless stuff for exorbitant prices. My heart goes out to all the guys who felt like they had to buy something expensive for their other halves during this period. The shop merchants are really out for blood this year. Suddenly all items with the words "I Love You" on them have been marked up by at least 300%.

Adding on, the advertising team of Citigems are a pack of blood thirsty wolves..Ever since Feb our TV screens have been bombarded with images of Fiona Xie (yay!) and Joanne Peh looking sad, only to have their faces light up with joy when they receive boxes of nice, new, shiny jewelry. Now imagine the impact this has on the husbands/bfs. Scary isn't it?

Just random musings of mine..can't wait for this week to be over. After which it's the mid-term break! Hooray! 4 days for me to catch up with all my work. Watch out world, this nerd is about to be re-born..
