Killing Me Softly

I am dying. Then again so is everyone. Just that I seem to be dying at a rate which is higher than normal. My body doesn't seem to be what it once was..Ok either that or I just ate too much CNY goodies and I'm now feeling the after effects. haha!

Was wheezing like a mad dog after running the 96 route in school, which is about a paltry 2.2km. Continued wheezing through gym. I really detest pullups. Took me like 30 mins to fully recover! 30 mins leh! You could watch an entire episode of The Simpsons in that time. Speaking of which I am really looking forward to the Simpsons movie.

anyway you take 30 mins, multiply it by 10 and you get...*drum roll*...300 lah. If you got this wrong go smash your head against your monitor, you're probably under utilizing its capabilities anyway. Hopefully I'll get to watch 300 this weekend..the last show I watched almost made me cry, which is not manly at all(it was the pursuit of happyness btw). So away with the tear-jerkers and welcome adrenaline-pumping, testosterone-filled, blood-splattered 300! Can't wait. =)

Online shopping is killing me. Seriously it is. I have been spending way too much for my own good. Gave it some thought and I realised its not worth it to buy new clothes anymore. I don't go out enough to make my purchases worthwhile, half my t shirts have been worn less then 5 times. Seriously. The last paragraph just made me feel like a girl. I need to watch 300 now. TESTOSTERONE!!

Somehow everytime I see the 300 poster, Troy pops to mind. Who could ever forget that inspiring speech Achilles(Brad Pitt) gave to his troopers:

"My brothers of the sword! I would rather fight beside you than any army of thousands! Let no man forget how menacing we are, we are lions! Do you know what's waiting beyond that beach? Immortality! Take it! It's yours!"

and not to forget my personal favourite by Achilles:

"Is there no one else? Is there no one else?"

Talk about arrogance lor. We are lions lor. Roar!
