For everyone who has enjoyed internet radio (eg Pandora), here's something you should take a look at. I won't be so quick to judge if it's all corporate bullshit, but this could potentially mean the end of internet radio.
"Proposed changes in royalty rates paid to the RIAA are being passed by the CRB (Copyright Royalty Board) which will cause most Internet Radio broadcasters to discontinue operations. There is a short window of opportunity to appeal these outrageous rate increases, that will only profit the RIAA, big brain-dead broadcasters, politicians and lawyers in the short term.. and no one in the long term.. we the Public will suffer the consequences..."
Just to create some awareness, let's hope other countries do not adopt the same policy. Seriously can't they allow SOME good things in life to be free? Tsk.
